This old sheepfold has been completely renovated with great taste and is located in an exceptional natural environment, near the village of Veraza.
Here, everything is calm and serene .... 10 hectares of forest are setting around this charming little house, built entirely of stone. The vegetation here is so involved that 1 hectare of land has been cleared.
Nature is lush and full of rivers, a paradise for fishermen as athletes in search of thrills on practising white water sports.
It is also an excellent place to stay for cultural discoveries. From here it is very easy to tour around an visit to the medieval citadelle of Carcassonne, World Heritage by UNESCO, the Canal du Midi, also a World Heritage, the Cathar castles, and the famous village of Rennes le Castle, whose notoriety has been given back with the Da Vinci Code. The Mystics will follow in the footsteps of the Abbe Sauniere and National Treasure.
It also lands the vineyards that gave birth to the ancient and famous Blanquette de Limoux.
The cottage of 95 m² built of stone, has a private swimming-pool and solarium equipped. the quality of design and the good taste you surprised you and make it enjoyable both at home and outside.
On ground floor: a nice living room, an independent kitchen opening onto the terrace, 1 double bedroom, 1 spacious shower room with Italian shower and toilet.
On 1st floor: 1 large room on the mezzanine with 2 single beds, 1 other double bedroom and 1 shower room with toilet.
Beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenees.
The owners speak Spanish. Sorry no pet allowed.

An ideal spot to relaxe and to be away from civilisation. It is also an ideal base from many cultural, natural or sport discoveries.

Het huis ligt volledig vrij in de natuur met prachtige uitzicht. Heerlijk zwembad bij warm weer. Omgeving ook erg mooi.

Prachtig huisje op een toplocatie voor wie van rust houdt. Zzer vriendelijke eigenaars. Enige minpuntje was de houten vloer boven. Daar zit niks van isolatie dus alles van beneden hoor je boven en omgekeerd.

Le propriétaire qui nous a reçu était comme toujours très sympathique. Avez-vous le repos (la plupart du temps le silence) et dans l'espace, alors c'est l'endroit idéal. Beaucoup de choses à voir dans la région, par exemple la Cité de Carcassonne, mais le centre vaut la peine. Une pointe de train touristique Axat (formation Rouge).
