House description
The environment of this lovely villa presents many interests : a quiet situation in a nice garden and fresh pine tree forest, on the outskirt of the well-stocked village of Saint Marcel sur aude, near the famous Canal du Midi (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and at only few kilometers from the city of Narbonne and the harbour of Somail (busy and popular at summer time with restaurants, boats and bikes renting).
It is also a wonderful area for nature lovers because the villa is in the Narbonnais Regional Park with the steep paths of massif de la Clape, the Bages lakes appreciated by ornithologists or the white sandy beaches of Gruissan near by.
The 130 m² villa is converted comfortably for 7 people. It is a completed detached house, built on the same level in a 3500 m² garden. It offers also a very large private and secured swimming pool with a circular shallow bath, a solarium of 100 m² and 2 terraces which one is coved.
The house is sunny which makes it very pleasant at any season.
An entrance, a 70 m² spacious room to live with an independant kitchen, a dining area and a living. Night area with 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 1 single bed and 2 bunk beds, 1 bathroom with bath and shower, 1 independant toilet.
Views on the surrounding countryside. 30€ extra per week for 1 pet allowed.

I have been charmed by the vomumes of this villa which make it unique : large garden with a pinède, spacious swimming pool and the inside of villa well equipped; The vinicity of the famous Canal du Midi improve this feeling.

Het huis was fantastisch. Fijne eigenaar. Sprak voornamelijk Frans. Het zwembad was fantastisch. Een zeer grote tuin met alle faciliteiten BBQ, tafeltennis, jeu de boulles, zwembadluchtbedden etc , etc. Zeer compleet. De streek/ligging was weinig uitdagend/spectaculair. Zee wel dicht in de buurt. Kustlijn weinig karakteristiek. Gruigan nog wel leuk. Wij hebben het wel gezien in deze streek van Frankrijk.

Belle maison avec toutes les commodités. Dans la cuisine est vraiment tout ce que vous pensez avoir besoin. Très belle piscine avec espace pour les petits enfants. Grand jardin. Endroit très calme à la fin d'une série de maisons le long d'une petite rue.

Séjour très agréable dans cette villa spacieuse et confortable au coeur de sa pinède, au calme et à quelques minutes des commerces du village. Nous avons apprécié le sens de l'hospitalité, la discrétion et la gentillesse de notre hôte Claude grâce à qui nous nous sommes vraiment sentis en vacances.
